What is a County Ambassador?

County Ambassadors are the face of the 4-H Program and are responsible for developing a Plan of Action, executing a Service Learning project, and coordinating countywide events.  In addition, County Ambassadors may:

• Attend leadership conferences
• Lead educational sessions or workshops
• Act as Master of Ceremonies at an event
• Serve on a statewide committee

Earning the title of County Ambassador is a working honor, and in fulfilling this position, members are expected to behave with maturity, composure, and excellence.  County Ambassador is a working honor, and in fulfilling this position, members are expected to behave with maturity, composure, and excellence.  County Ambassadors are expected to:

• Always follow the 4-H Code of Conduct
• Maintain a professional attitude
• Follow appropriate dress guidelines
• Serve as a role model for younger members
• Complete work on time
