This webinar is part of the UC Ag Experts Talk series. Dr. Florent Trouillas, Associate Cooperative Extension Specialist with the Department of Plant Pathology at UC Davis and the Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center, will go over the main symptoms of red leaf blotch disease in almond including seasonal symptom progression. He will present elements of biology such as the disease cycle, main spore types and inoculum sources. He will also describe the seasonal dynamic of sporulation and information related to host susceptibility. Finally, the presentation will go over disease management strategies including cultural practices as well as fungicide efficacy and optimal timing of fungicide applications
