ANR Update

The University of California Office of the President invites comments on the proposed Presidential Policy on Abusive Conduct in the Workplace. The proposed policy covers abusive conduct and retaliation in the workplace.

I am thrilled to announce that Daniel Obrist will be joining UC ANR on Aug. 15, 2022, as the Vice Provost Academic Personnel. Daniel will initially hold a 50% appointment through the end of 2022 before assuming the role full time on Jan. 1, 2023.

Colleagues, Several ANR employees have received a phishing email purporting to be from Glenda Humiston. VP Humiston is not asking for gift cards; she uses her UCOP email for work. Please be extra careful to check the sender's email address if you receive emails that look suspicious.

As Wendy Powers and Mark Bell announced Monday, they will be moving on to exciting, new positions this summer. Although I will miss them both personally and professionally, I'm choosing to view this transition as an opportunity for all of us.
