Dan Gomes Family Outstanding Dairy Award 2025-2026
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gomes and their entire family have been very supportive of the Glenn County 4-H Program, especially the dairy project. Many years ago they felt that special recognition should be given to an outstanding dairy member each year. It was decided that all dairy members would be invited to complete an application and compete for this award. This award will be chosen based on the youth members’ applications and qualifications.
Eligibility
Minimum qualifications - All 4-H members are eligible to apply for the Dan Gomes Outstanding Dairy Award if all of the following are true:
- Be 9-18 years old by Dec. 31, 2025 (Junior, Intermediate, and Senior members) for the 2025-2026 4-H year.
- Be currently enrolled in the Glenn County 4-H Program.
- Be currently enrolled in a 4-H Dairy Project.
- Have completed two or more years of 4-H.

Submit an application and a current photo for publicity purposes by Monday, June 29, 2026, to the UCCE Office. You may email or mail, drop your application in our drop box, or bring it to the UCCE Office.
