This presentation will provide an overview of organic certification including: 

(1) how to become certified organic

(2) an overview of National Organic Program regulations

(3) the roles of organic certifiers, inspectors, the National Organic Program and the State Organic Program

(4) opportunities for financial and technical assistance – including an organic farmer mentorship program.
