Check out the “Being Mixed-Race in the Workplace” videos produced by Devii Rao, UC Cooperative Extension livestock and natural resources advisor.
As part of her independent project for the UC ANR CORO Leadership Academy, Devii interviewed five UC ANR colleagues who identify as being mixed-race or having mixed ethnicity. She then created four 10–12-minute videos focused on different themes.
The goals of the project were to 1) Understand how people feel connected at work, 2) help UC develop goals that support people throughout the organization, 3) create belonging, inclusion and support to diverse employees.
