About the Event

The best time to plant CA native plants are in the fall! Come visit Eddie Souza Community Garden for a hands-on workshop. We will be removing invasive non-natives and replace them CA Natives. You will learn about the plants and best practices for establishing a native garden.

This workshop will be taking place during the regularly scheduled Second Sunday Garden Share and is hosted by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County in partnership is City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation. Student volunteers will receive volunteer credit for helping out.

Wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring your water bottle filled up. We will have gloves and tools for you.
