About the Event

Learn how to care for citrus trees from sapling to maturity in this free class led by UC Master Gardener of Yolo County Bonnie Berman at Grace Garden, behind the Davis United Methodist Church.

Bonnie grows more than 14 fruit tree varieties in her standard home lot. She has been a master gardener for more than 12 years and has led fruit tree presentations at the Winters Library and the Hanna & Herbert Bauer Community Garden in Woodland.

Grace Garden is a volunteer-run, 5/8-acre garden that provides thousands of pounds of fresh produce to help feed the hungry every year. The garden also provides teaching and outreach to educate the community about gardening, the environment, and sustainable practices.
