Central Sierra: Backyard Composting (Jackson)

Reduce what is sent to the landfill by turning your kitchen scraps and yard waste into garden gold! Whether you live in a home on a small lot or large rural property, Amador County Master Gardeners will cover practical ways to begin composting at home. In this informative class we will demonstrate different compost methods, along with instruction on how to build, maintain and harvest your compost pile.
