Composting Basics:
This workshop will focus on composting of backyard trimmings and food scraps. Learn about compost application - your soil will thank you!
Worm Composting & Composting for Small Spaces:
This workshop is best for those living in multifamily units or other homes without yard waste. Recycling your food waste reduces greenhouse gas emissions and is fantastic for your house plants.
Composting Systems
Through the County of Santa Clara, our program offers discounted backyard composting bins to Santa Clara County residents who attend our workshops. We are currently distributing the HOME composting system and the FreeGarden EARTH composting system, to all who qualify. We are currently offering a DIY Worm Bin Build later this summer.
