4-H Youth Development
We help youth grow as leaders through hands-on 4-H projects in science, agriculture, and community service.

We connect communities and land managers with research and resources on fire ecology, prescribed burning, and wildfire resilience across Northern California.
Forestry & Forest Health
We work with landowners and natural resource professionals to support healthy, resilient forests through research on silviculture, forest health, and watershed management.
Livestock
We support local ranchers and livestock producers with research-based guidance in herd health, grazing management, and sustainable rangeland practices.
Master Food Preservers
Our trained volunteers teach safe, research-based home food preservation techniques to reduce waste and support healthy eating.
Master Gardeners
Master Gardeners share research-based gardening advice to help residents create healthy, sustainable gardens and landscapes.
Nutrition
We partner with schools and community programs to help Humboldt and Del Norte residents build healthy habits through nutrition education and active living.
