The University of California Cooperative Extension in Plumas and Sierra Counties is part of a statewide system that makes University of California research-based information available to local agencies, industries, and the general public. Backed by resources at the nine University California campuses, our educational programs use practical information to address community challenges focused on sustaining agricultural vitality, enhancing natural resources, youth and leadership development along with helping communities shape sound public policy.
