General Information about Leadership/Officer Training
Leadership/Officer Training Day is hosted annually each August by the Fresno County 4-H Ambassadors. The purpose of Leadership/Officer Training Day is to:
- Prepare newly elected club officers for their role in leading at the club level in the coming year
- Conduct team building activities designed to help officer teams work together effectively
- Provide leadership development training for Junior Teen Leaders as well as all interested 4-H youth
- Provide support and resources for project leaders and adult volunteers
All Fresno County 4-H members and adult volunteers are encouraged to attend.

This event is for all 4-H Club Officers interested in improving their leadership skills and learning more about their upcoming responsibilities in the club.
All sessions will be offered twice and will include- President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Flag Bearer, Historian, Reporter, Adult Volunteer Leaders, and Sparks / Emerald Star Achievements. The last session of the day will be a mock Club Meeting experience.
