ACCESSIBLE GARDENING: PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS FOR PHYSICAL CHALLENGES

This class will explore how gardeners with physical disabilities can continue to enjoy and benefit from gardening through adaptive tools, techniques, and accessible garden design. Participants will learn how to overcome common physical challenges using ergonomic tools, raised beds, and mobility-friendly layouts. The presentation offers practical strategies to reduce strain, conserve energy, and adapt gardening tasks to individual abilities. It will also highlight how gardening supports mental well-being, reduces stress, and promotes physical health.
